The Society ofThe Friendly Sons of St. Patrickin The City of New York

Founded in 1784 by Irishmen who came together to provide assistance and support to their fellow countrymen in the adjustment to life in the new world, The Society of the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick in the City of New York is the oldest charitable institution in the city. We carry on the traditions of our founders by focusing our charitable efforts in three areas within the City of New York: education, Irish Arts & Culture, and, in keeping with our origins, legal immigration services. The Society holds several events throughout the year for the purposes of charitable fundraising and social engagement amongst our membership.
